Frequently Asked Questions
Is the glass skywalk suitable for people with height phobia?
The skywalk is optional. There’s an enclosed viewing deck at SWFC (same height, no glass floor) for those uncomfortable with heights.
Is the river cruise affected by bad weather?
Cruises run in light rain. In storms, we replace it with a visit to the Oriental Pearl Tower’s indoor observation deck (full refund for cruise if canceled).
Can I bring luggage?
Light backpacks are okay, but large suitcases aren’t allowed at observation decks (security checks). Leave them at your hotel.
Is this tour family-friendly?
Yes! Kids love the fast elevator and robot restaurant. Note: children under 6 need adult supervision on the glass skywalk.
Best time of year for clear views?
Spring (March–May) and autumn (September–November) have the clearest skies—summer can be hazy, winter is crisp but colder.
Are cameras/tripods allowed?
Cameras are welcome! Small tripods are permitted (no large ones, due to space). Your guide shares tips for the best shots.
How long is the walk?
Total walking distance is ~3km on flat paths. Wear comfortable shoes—some skybridges have slight inclines.
Can we skip the robot restaurant?
Yes! Your guide can recommend other options: local dumpling spots or international chains in Super Brand Mall.
